12.53am...
As the sunflowers shall smile at the morning sun
So shall my eyes glow in the morning breeze.
The doves will be cooing, I am certain;
And I too, am sure my heart will be cooing for you love.
A sleepless night, seemingly it is,
One demanding for a verse, for the one
The one whose heart I intensely treasure.
A midnight poem…
As the sunflowers disgruntle the sun’s distance
So shall my soul begrudge your heart’s distance.
The loneliness though unpleasant,
Shall never overcome
The power of the hope of togetherness,
That herein we so patiently await.
So shall my soul begrudge your heart’s distance.
The loneliness though unpleasant,
Shall never overcome
The power of the hope of togetherness,
That herein we so patiently await.
But then my Queen,
The crickets have been aroused.
Don’t know by what but I can guess,
If not by the magnitude of the love,
Then It surely must be…
The midnight poetry!
The crickets have been aroused.
Don’t know by what but I can guess,
If not by the magnitude of the love,
Then It surely must be…
The midnight poetry!
1.16am...
Twisting. Shifting. Rolling.
The pillow seems to feel dehumanised
Oh No! it’s missing someone, I can tell,
You my babe!
I am comforting her by pushing it aside,
And have laid my hand over her.
For if we continue this way,
The sun’s afternoon heat
Will find me still cuddling
The only company I now have…
Twisting. Shifting. Rolling.
The pillow seems to feel dehumanised
Oh No! it’s missing someone, I can tell,
You my babe!
I am comforting her by pushing it aside,
And have laid my hand over her.
For if we continue this way,
The sun’s afternoon heat
Will find me still cuddling
The only company I now have…
For none shall ever conquer,
The Power of Midnight Poetry!
The Power of Midnight Poetry!
1.27am…
What’s for Breakfast?
