RAILA ODINGA DESERVES A CHANCE THIS TIME:

I DON'T SUPPORT A POLITICAL PARTY that is hungry and greedy for power.

But if you ask me, I will tell you point blank that Agwambo has NEVER been in Government at all!
Here's the EVIDENCE.

Having been a Lethal Opposition leader taking over from his father, Moi inn 1997 lured Raila and his NDP party into the KANU government with a promise that Moi would endorse him in the 2002 as his successor. Moi successfully lied to Raila and you know who was handpicked by Moi that year.

In 2002, Raila marshaled his Loyal Lieutenants to massively queue and vote in Kibaki. This, according to many was more of a 'revenge' on Moi for his betrayal of Rao.

Immediately Kibaki was sworn in, him and his Mt. Kenya mafia went on what I can call the Raila-Purging Spree. The Kibaki-led government used every state machinery to weaken Raila and seek to expunge him from Government. As this was going on, another group was busy luring the Opposition Leader (Uhuru) into government.

Everything worked well for the men of Mumbi in that by 2005, Raila was out of government, Uhuru had been weakened and totally neutralised and KIbaki and his Central Kenya think-tanks had a tight grip on power. (Factually, Uhuru knew the risk of losing the support of the KIkuyus if he effectively played his role of an Opposition Leader).

In 2007, Uhuru openly declared his support for Kibaki; Kenyans had been tired of the Kibaki regime and supported the then Invincible ODM Pentagon brigade. Raila won the Election but the entire process was rigged by the Mt. Kenya power-hungry. Kenyans fought…The rest is history.

The consequence? A Coalition Government was formed. This proved to be one of the most Ineffective government ever to exist in the history of Politics – Characterised by Power and Supremacy struggles between the President and the Prime Minister. Raila evidently was at the losing end since his position was new and the Constitution always favoured the position of a President. Though the Accord spelt clearly that the two Principals were Equals, no one in the President’s side of government respected or recognised Raila as Kibaki’s equal. I stand corrected.

That Kibaki appointed Uhuru as Deputy Prime Minister and a powerful Finance Minister  is a point worth noting. The grooming for his Presidential bid in 2013 had just begun.
As the Coalition Partners pretended in public that they were in a Stable government and that no decisions were made without proper ‘consultations’, Raila was silently struggling to endure and perservere the incessant embarrassment of being shortchanged by Kibaki and his un-caring Army.

What was going on in Kenya between 2008 and 2011 was nothing other than a section of the Kibaki followers castigating and vilifying Raila whenever they had a chance to; subsequently portraying him in bad light amongst the electorate and making many believe that he should carry the blame for the PEV. Kenyans however overwhelmingly voted for Baba in 2013.

What happened in the Electioneering body in 2007 also happened in 2013 as the men and women of the house of Mumbi sought to ensure power remains with them, held by one of their own, son of Jomo.

Truth be told, Raila has never really had a chance to be fully in control of a government.  The Hungry men from Central only fear that whence he ascends to the throne, one of their own will never be elected because BABA has the POWER and PROWESS to be the PEOPLE’S PRESIDENT – and Objective Kenyans Love him. Take it or Leave it!

HOW DO YOU EXPECT A VILLAGER TO BEHAVE UPON FIRST STEPPING IN CITY?

(WRITTEN ON DECEMBER 2011) NAIROBI  LIFE: ANNONYMOUS LETTER TO A FICTITIOUS COUSIN If you thought coming to Nairobi for a holiday is fun, then think again. I know you grew up being told that Nairobi is the capital city of Kenya but you are wrong. Let me imagine how you will be preparing yourself for the so called ‘vacation’. Back in the village some days before you head for the city, you will boast and tease your fellows who will naturally envy your twist of events. And so they will think that you are going to meet with the most popular of Kenyans whom they only manage to hear on radio about. But unfortunately that’s far from the truth. When you come expect to be warmly welcomed by a chain of rude shocks. Maybe I should give you an idea about what you should expect: 1)       Roads and Highways. Before entering the town you will be greeted by traffic jam some few kilometers from the city. Keep in mind that there are a lot of car...

WHAT MAKES MUGO WA WAIRIMU TICK?

THE ONE QUESTION I WOULD LOVE TO ASK MUGO WAIRIMU: I don't have a girlfriend; but I have a sister whom I love to death.  I don't have a wife; but I have a mother who means is everything to me. I don't have a sugar-mummy; but I have aunts of whom I swore to die for. Do anything stupid to ANY of them and I screw you mercilessly.  ### After watching the video of that 'gynaecologist' Mugo wa Wairimu, I felt it one of my duty as a man, as brother, as a nephew, a son and as a later husband to speak my mind about the story. First and foremost, I would like to commend you for the humongous following you have that is so irredeemably tribal to the extent of rubbishing off something that even a three year old can feel disgusted about. I choose to say no more 'cause I pity them. Before I proceed however, I would like to put something across that I consider the 'doctor' innocent until otherwise proven guilty.  As a law-abiding citizen...

HOW DO YOU EXPECT A VILLAGER TO BEHAVE UPON FIRST STEPPING IN CITY? (PART 2)

....(a continuation of Part One of HOW DO YOU EXPECT A VILLAGER TO BEHAVE UPON FIRST STEPPING IN CITY?) 4)       My Favorite Beer. I do really admit that you love drinking but I fear your drinking style. You hardly finish two hours in the pub before being carried to the house by your friends. Why? First is your drinking speed (or your carburetor as you usually called it), is so high that your friends nicknamed you “Usain Bolt”. Second is the type of drink you take but I don’t blame you for that considering the size of your wallet. If you come to city and one weekend you a have five hundred shillings note, don’t even look at the bar’s door. Instead put that money in your phone account and send it to your accolades in the village for them to take busaa then wait for a “Thank You” call the next day. be sure that you will receive more calls than ever. After that head straight for your house, take a lot of tea and give your bed what it deserves; s...
